Wedding themes are obsolete these days, as every single wedding in based on the theme only. Not exactly obsolete but this idea is actually gets exhaust. People are so much obsessed with the theme ideas that they just have crossed all the limits out of it. So, now it’s your turn to think out of the box. And   for that surprise wedding is the best. Coffee Themed Wedding

Coffee can be a theme for a wedding! When I heard it first, it was my reaction and can be yours too. So I think it is better to take you to the tour of this wedding. Every one of you must me thinking of how we can have theme like this on wedding and not only this the main question arises is how coffee can be incorporated as a wedding theme.

Any one of you ever thinks of this that we have to follow some etiquette that too for the wedding cake.  Recently I have attended one wedding where I got to know about the wedding cake etiquette. It was shocking for me. How anyone can put protocols for cake cutting. According to me cake cutting is for delight and for celebration and how anybody can put protocol in your celebration. But yes, it is true.

For me, only sophisticated people follow the etiquette and if there is any, I think it is necessary for you guys to know about the etiquette.  So let’s have protocols which we need to follow while cutting wedding cake.
Cake table decoration for the wedding cake: First and the foremost protocol for the wedding cake is the right sitting of the cake. It is really essential to decorate the table on which couple is going to cut the cake with some elegant centerpiece. You can use ribbons or the bridesmaid’s bouquet on the table with stylish knife tied with pompom for decoration. Don’t forget about the goblet for the toast.

Timing for the cake cutting: Usually toast and cake cutting often signifies that the reception is coming to an end. And it takes place after the dinner and the speeches. Its bride’s father who starts the toast followed by the bride and the groom and then the family members and at last best man announces for the cake cutting. It generally means that after the cake cutting guest are left for next 45mins for dance before the completion of the ceremony. Cake cutting should be clean and choreographed one. 

How to announce cake cutting: For announcement, I would suggest you to ask your DJ to make an announcement at a designated time in between the songs or you can ask your family member to inform the masses. This will make guests to clear the dance floor for the cake cutting ceremony. Normally guest find this, a right time to say good bye so make it sure that they will stay last long. For that you can ask your DJ to play the song immediately after the cake cutting. 

How to serve it as dessert: Bride and groom cut the bottom layer of the tier cake. And after the cake cutting, cake is taken away by the families or the catering staff for the serving purpose. Cutting for the serving is not done in front of the guest. Normally people prefer to take the cake piece along with them at their home, so always make an arrangement of some boxes which your guest can use because it looks tacky to wrap cake with the paper napkin. You can put separate cake for the serving and packing.
